Proverbs 5:21

For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, And He watches all his Paths. NASB

In the early days of traffic cameras and home surveillance systems I used to joke that we were one nation under God and under surveillance.

The truth is the Bible tells us we always are under surveillance. That is not a bad thing. God is always watching and wanting to lead his people in paths of righteousness for His name sake. Psalm 23

But not all take the path of righteousness as was the case with King Asa. You can read about him in 2 Chronicles 16:9-10.

God is for us and wants to bless his people. In order to be blessed we need to be willing to receive God’s direction rather than resist. Here are a few more verses for further study today to guide us.

Psalm 16:11; Psalm 32:8; Psalm 33:18; Psalm 34:15-16: Psalm 119: 18, 35, 105, 130,168.

Proverbs 5:22-23 describe what is waiting for those who resist.
